3. Replace the cover by aligning two tabs on the cover with

the slots on the bottom of the receiver, then pivoting the

cover down until it clicks shut.

Notes:

• If the reception range decreases or the power indicator

does not light when you turn on the receiver, replace the

battery.

• When you connect the AC adapter, the battery is automati-

cally disconnected.

Caution:

If you do not plan to use the battery for a week or

more, remove it. The battery might leak chemicals that can

damage the receiver's electronic circuits.
