OPERATION
1.
To turn on the transmitter
, slide
POWER
to the right. The
indicator lights.
2. Lift the transmitter's antenna to the vertical position for the
maximum transmission range.
3.
To turn on the receiver
, slide
OFF ON
(located on the top of
the receiver) to
ON
. The POWER indicator lights.
Note:
If the receiver produces shrill sounds, it is too close
to the transmitter. Move the receiver farther away from the
transmitter until the shrill sounds stop.
4. Rotate
VOLUME
, located on the right side of the receiver, to
adjust the volume. The stronger the receiving signal, the
more indicators light, regardless of the
VOLUME
setting.
5. To test the reception, have someone talk near the transmit-
ter (or place a radio near the transmitter and turn it on).
Move around the house with the receiver to check the
transmitter's range.
