PREPARATION

INSTALLING BATTERIES

The main unit of your sensor alarm requires four AA

batteries (not supplied) for power. For the best per-

formance and longest life, we recommend alkaline

batteries (available at your local RadioShack store).

Cautions:

• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and

recommended type.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different

types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or re-

chargeable), or rechargeable batteries of differ-

ent capacities.

1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two

screws from the battery compartment cover,

then lift off the cover.
