Cautions:
Be sure your power source does
not exceed 16 volts DC.
Disconnect power from the main
control unit before you connect
the sensor to it.
Connecting the Sensor to
Your Alarm
For a single-sensor connection:
If you use more than one sensor and
both are set to the Normally Closed
(N.C.) and Normally Open (N.O.)
alarm outputs, connect them to the
control unit’s alarm terminals in series.
1. Carefully strip away about 4
inches of outer jacket insulation
from both ends of the cable.
2. Carefully strip about
1
/
2
inch of
insulation from both ends of each
wire.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to
loosen the screw on the sensor’s
cover, then lift off the cover.
4. Remove the screw that holds the
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) in
place, then lift off the PCB.
5. Use a screwdriver to knock out
the elliptical hole on the lower
case, then route the cable through
the hole.
