1.0 Operation
1.1 Activating The CB
To activate the CB radio, press the COM button on the communications controller (see Figure 1). You
should now see the “CB” characters on the lower left portion of the radio display.

1.2 Selecting A Channel
!!WARNING!!
Set CB channel, squelch, threshold, and volume before riding to
minimize the need for adjustments on the road. Excessive
adjustments while riding is an unnecessary distraction that can
lead to loss of vehicle control resulting in death or serious injury.
Press and hold the COM button on the communications controller for approximately 1 second or until the
“CHANNEL ADJUST” screen appears on the radio display. Use the same COM button to increase the CB
channel. Use the ICOM button to decrease the CB channel.
