1. Set Up the Transmitter
Your system creates a circular pet area up to
180 feet across.
Place the transmitter at the center of your planned
area; set it indoors, at least 2 feet above the fl oor.
Apply power, set the Boundary Switch to “HIGH”
and the Control Dial to “8”.
2. Prepare the Receiver Collar
Insert RFA-67 battery (included). Turn
clockwise to turn ON.
Set the static correction level following
instructions in this Operating & Training Guide.
3. Adjust the Pet Area
Walk to the edge of the desired pet area.
Hold the Receiver Collar at your pet’s neck
height, with the PetSafe
®
logo side facing away
from transmitter.
Have a helper turn the boundary control dial
slowly, down from “8”.
When the Receiver Collar starts to beep, have
your helper stop turning the dial.
Check all limits of your pet boundary and have
the helper adjust the dial as necessary.
4. Place the Boundary Flags
Hold the Receiver Collar at your pet’s neck
height, with the PetSafe
®
logo side facing away
from transmitter.
Walk to the edge of your boundary.
When the Receiver Collar starts to beep, place
a fl ag in the ground.
Repeat this until Boundary Zone is marked
with fl ags about every 10 feet.
5. Fit the Receiver Collar and Train Your Dog
Follow the collar fi tting instructions carefully.
Be patient when training your pet.
