If it is not, at the command prompt enter the command setExtIpAddr:

Set New External IP Addr

Change the IP address by typing the following information shown in bold. Type the new
value, and press Return. The next line will appear. To leave a value as shown, press Return.

New Ext IP Addr = 169.254.200.5
Set New subnet Mask 0xFFFF0000 – 0xFFFF0000
New subnet Mask = 0xFFFF0000
Current Ext IP Addr = 0.0.0.0
Set New External Gateway Addr
Change the system as follows:
0 – 169
0 - 254
0 – 0
0 - 1
If the change is successful, the following information will appear:
New Ext Gateway Addr = 169.254.0.1
Unable to remove existing address
External IP Address = 169.254.200.5
value = 0 = 0x0
3 Start System Manager.
Launch a browser session and enter the MC-Series System IP address: http://169.254.200.5
.
The System Manager Home page appears, which contains five tabs to select from:
• Home—displays a welcome banner and a link for setting up users and changing the
MC-Series System password.
• System Configuration—depicts the status of the BIC, AIC, and RBS.
• Alarms—displays alarm information.
• Performance Monitoring—displays real-time performance information.
