27. PREPACKAGED GOODS CONTROL
(mode not available in balance’s standard version)
< PGC> mode operates packed goods control (single stand control or multi-
stand control) supported by a database containing products and users. A control
initiated from a balance is automatically switched of after a pre-set number of
packages (samples) has been controlled.
Balances may connect to E2R SYSTEM software and form a multi-stand system
(network). Each balance is an independent weighing stand and information on
control progress is transmitted continuously to a software. The software makes
collection of real-time data from each connected balance possible. Control may
be activated either by means of a balance or the software.
Collected data allow the user to assess quality of produced prepacked goods and
its conformity with:
• regulations concerning prepacked goods control of a given country;
• a company quality control system (internal control).
Control cycle scheme:
• Select a user,
• Select a product,
• Start control,
• Acquire weighing records,
• Automatically switch off control after a determined number of packages
(sample) has been weighed,
• Print a report on completed control.

Description of balance connection with < E2R System> is to be found in
chapter 31.1.
27.1. Working mode activating procedure
Procedure:
• While in the main window, press soft key located in the upper bar of the
display, which opens a submenu <Working modes> with selection of
available working modes,
• select< PGC>mode, the software automatically returns to the main window
and displays pictogram in the upper bar,
• Simultaneously, the bottom information bar displays a text <Start
control>and the bottom bar includes a soft key:
