Hardware Security
What is the best way to protect data which you have on an external
HDD against unauthorized access? The IB-Safe226 comes with
hardware encryption according to AES 256. AES is the Advanced
Encryption Standard. The encryption is based on the chipset and
is activated and deactivated with a physical key. Thus there is no
password that you could forget. Only a person who has the physical
key as well as the enclosure can access the HDD to read or write.
The perfect external enclosure for confidential and classified data.
