VandlClean Graffiti Cleaner
Product Description:
Rainguard VANDLCLEAN Graffiti cleaner is an environmentally-friendly, biodegradable graffiti cleaner de-signed to
dissolve spray paint, marker, pen, pencil, ink, or glue. It is 100% water-neutralized (neutralized with wa-ter) and
is safe for use near waterways, rivers, canals, and reservoirs. VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner is a citrus-based,
pleasantly-scented, concentrated cleaner and degreaser designed for a wide range of cleaning chores on any
surface not harmed by water alone. Natural orange extracts coupled with biodegradable surfac-tants, dirt-
suspending agents, and builders produce a formidable cleaner for everyday applications. When com-pared with
other name brand products and other commonly used hard surface cleaners, VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner
demonstrates conclusive proof that citrus performs more efficiently and effectively. It is suitable for removing
graffiti from brick, cement, wood, or any porous surface. VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Remover may damage PVC
surfaces (plastics), so it is recommended that a small area be tested prior to use.
Application:
Non-Porous Metallic Surfaces
On previously painted surfaces, polished metal, stainless steel, aluminum, or any other type of non-porous sur-
face, spray VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner directly to the affected surface, and allow to remain until graffiti begins
to dissolve (one to two minutes). Wipe the surface clean of the graffiti.
Non-Porous Painted Surfaces
On painted surfaces, remove graffiti in small sections to ensure that the graffiti remover does not damage the
surface. In a case where the graffiti remover dissolves the underlying paint, immediately neutralize the cleaned
area with water. Use a clean section of the rag to remove any remaining graffiti residue once the majority of the
graffiti has been removed. Always wash the surface with water to neutralize the graffiti cleaner when the job is
completed.
Porous Surfaces (Brick or Concrete)
For brick or concrete surfaces, use a stiff brush to apply the graffiti remover into the porous surface. Apply the
product liberally and work the product into the porous surface using a twisting motion of the brush. Allow the
product to seep into the surface for a minimum of 20-30 minutes, then test to see if graffiti is dissolving. If graffiti
has dissolved, you may use high-pressure water to wash the graffiti from the surface. If a pressure washer is not
available, we recommend washing (scrubbing) the treated surface with warm water and an industrial-grade de-
greaser or soap. Rinse with fresh water when finished.
DO NOT USE HIGH PRESSURE WATER; DAMAGE TO SURFACE OF SUBSTRATE. MAY RESULT. IF ALL OF
THE GRAF-FITI IS NOT REMOVED IN THE FIRST ATTEMPT, PERFORM A SECOND APPLICATION WHEN
DRY. WE RECOM-MEND ROOM TEMPERATURE/WARM WATER (21°C-65°C / 70°F-150°F).
STEAM OR HOT WATER MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACE OR GROUTED AREAS.
Sandstone or Porous Concrete Surfaces
Use a stiff brush to apply the graffiti remover into porous surface. Apply the product liberally, and work the
product into the porous surface using a twisting motion of the brush. Allow the product to seep into the surface
for a minimum of 20-30 minutes, and then test to see if graffiti is dissolving.
DO NOT USE HIGH-PRESSURE WATER TO REMOVE GRAFFITI FROM THE SURFACE.
SANDSTONE IS EXTREMELY SOFT AND WILL BE DAMAGED BY HIGH-PRESSURE WATER.
We recommend washing (scrubbing) the treated surface with warm water and an industrial grade degreaser or
soap. Rinse with fresh water when finished. If shadows remain, allow surface to dry and perform a second re-
moval procedure.
