Format
echoid [-s]
Platform
Windows 95/98, Windows NT/2000, and UNIX.
Who/Where
Run from the operating system command prompt by an administrative or appli-
cation user on a stand-alone, client, or license server computer. The file
echoid.dat must be in the same directory as the echoid program file.
Options
The -s option displays the locking codes on the command line instead of in a sep-
arate message box. This allows you to use redirection to send the output to a text
file. For example, on a Windows computer:
echoid -s >lock.txt
WlmAdmin Used on Windows95/98 and NT/2000 comput-
ers for general SentinelLM administration. Can
be used to monitor license server transactions.
Gives information on license servers, licensed
applications, and application users. Also calls
other SentinelLM utilities such as the reserva-
tion file editor, the redundant license server
pool editor, and the license server shutdown
utility.

WlsGrMgr Reservation file editor. Used on Windows 95/98
and Windows NT/2000. Provides an easy way
to create a reservation file that reserves license
tokens for specific network users or computers,

using license tokens.
