7.5 Advanced Settings
This menu item opens the Advanced Settings window; the settings are grouped
in tabs, as described in the below subsections.
7.5.1 Confirmations
In the Confirmations tab you can activate the
security prompts previously deactivated.
When turning off the RAM drive, when the
program ends (4
Fig. 26) and when Windows
shuts down, the security prompts are dis-
played, to prevent the unintentional termina-
tion of the active RAM drive; this helps to
avoid the loss of data stored on the RAM
drive.
You can deactivate these questions by choos-
ing the Do not ask me in the future
option
(4
Fig. 26). You can activate them again, by
checking the respective boxes in the
Confirmations tab (4
Fig. 25).
7.5.2 Drive Layout
Miray RAM Drive Pro/Server editions only
This tab allows you to specify format and lay-
out preferences for the RAM drive.
{
Sector size (Pro edition only): Select the
desired size for the physical sectors on the
RAM drive.
{
File system: Specify the file system which
will be used to format the RAM drive.
{
Cluster size (Pro edition only): This value
determines the size of the logical blocks
within the file system.
