STEP 2
DO NOT TIGHTEN HARDWARE UNTIL TOLD TO DO SO.
Insert fairlead mounting capscrews (item #5) through holes in mounting bracket assembly (item #1) and leave for
later.
Lift winch mounting bracket assembly (item #1) and place between vehicle frame and vehicle frame brace, each
side, as shown. Align mounting holes and secure bracket assembly to frame using (1 each side) 5/8” x 3 1/2” long
capscrews, lockwashers, and nuts (items #12, 18, 24). At vehicle frame brace, use (1 each side 5/8” x 4” long cap-
screws, lockwashers, and nuts (items #12, 18, 24).
Assemble 2 angles (item #2) to back bar (item #3) using (1 each side) 1/2” x 1 1/2” long capscrews, lockwashers,
nuts, and (2 each side) flat washers (items 8, 17, 22, 23).
Place assembled angles and back bar between the mounting bracket as shown. Secure angles to vehicle frame using
5/8” x 4” long capscrews, lockwashers, and nuts (items 12, 18, 24).
Remove 2x4 blocks from top of vehicle frame.
