Instruction
1
1) Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking
brake. Place the front wheels in a straightforward
position.
2) Loosen the nuts on the drag link adjusting sleeve
clamps. Remove the bolt on the adjusting sleeve
bracket. See illustration 1.

3) Without moving the adjusting sleeve, turn the clamps
until the bolts are vertical and on the front. Slide
bracket aside and file a notch on the drag link for the
bracket bolt.
4) Reposition bracket and install hardware. Tighten the
adjusting sleeve nuts to 41 ft. lbs. and the bracket nut
to 13 ft. lbs.
5) Place axle bracket 176345 on the front of the axle
housing above the tie rod adjusting sleeve. See
illustration 2. Loosely attach the bracket to the axle
with the large U-bolts from kit 860533.

6) Slide the axle bracket against the edge of the front
differential. Rotate the bracket 1/4” away from the tie
rod adjusting sleeve. Tighten the u-bolt nuts to
35 ft. lbs.
