PROTECTION CONTROLS
These lube oil protection controls guard pressure-lubricated refrigeration
compressors against major damage due to loss of oil pressure. If adequate
oil pressure is lost, the built-in S30 Time Delay Switch starts timing. If the
oil pressure does not recover within the set period, the control circuit is
opened, stopping the compressor.
These controls also feature replaceable time delay modules, SUPER CAP
®
capillary protection system, front-located captive cover screw and
adjustable pressure range (P30-3000 models only).

LUBE OIL PROTECTION
The 3321 Series of solid-state lube oil protection controls are designed for
use on refrigeration and air conditioning compressors using forced lubrica-
tion systems. Time delay is accomplished with a precise solid-state circuit.
Models are “field selectable” with multiple time delays (see ordering chart).
The solid-state circuitry is fully encapsulated to protect against vibration,
dirt or moisture.
The differential and range are fixed, and are not adjustable. See ordering
chart.
