Your Rat Zapper Ultra will need a clean-up once in a while.

How do you know when it’s dirty?

Here are a few signs:

The green and red lights both alternately ash and there

is nothing inside or you hear a buzzing or zapping sound

when you rst turn on your Rat Zapper Ultra. These signs

suggest that some moisture or material is bridging the

metal plates which creates a false signal to the Rat Zapper

Ultra’s techno-brain.

Cleaning your Rat Zapper Ultra is easy:

1. Turn the power switch OFF and remove the batteries;

2. Get a shallow disposable tray into which your Rat

Zapper Ultra can t;

3. Fill the tray with approximately one-inch of warm

water and a squirt of unscented dish detergent;

4. Immerse the lower portion only of your Rat Zapper

Ultra in the pan for one hour;

5. Use a small, disposable, soft brush to gently clean

around the metal plates;

6. Gently ush out the bottom of the Rat Zapper Ultra

with fresh water (no water in the upper compartment,

please!);

7. Allow the Rat Zapper Ultra to air dry completely (no air

compressors!);

8. Replace the batteries and you’re back in biz!
