BGS-S10 BACKGROUND SUPPORT KIT
INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing Raya. The Raya Background Support Kit is a sturdy support system that’s also lightweight and portable. It’s designed to support seamless paper rolls up to 53 in.″ wide or muslin sheets of up to 10 ft. wide. This background support is quick and easy to set up and is the perfect accessory when shooting children, pets, small-scale objects, and portraits. Four crossbar tubes can be set up to create background widths of 4.9′ft. (1.5 m) and 9.8′ft. (3 m).

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS 1. Start with one of the light stands. Unlock the legs by turning the leg adjustment locking knob. Spread the leg sections until the leg struts are parallel to the floor. Re-tighten the knob. 2. Raise the height of the stand by loosening the shaft height locking knobs. Start with the lowest knob, and raise each section to the desired height. Re-tighten each knob. 3. Configure the second stand to match the first. 4. Place the two stands where you want the backdrop to hang.
. Mount the crossbar into the threaded posts. • If necessary, remove the wing nut and one washer and fit the crossbar onto the threaded post and washer. • Place the second washer over the crossbar. Replace the wing nut and tighten it until secure. Make certain that the support system is steady and in position before adding backdrops. It’s a good practice to secure the legs of your background supports with a sandbag or weight bag. INSTALLING A BACKGROUND For a cloth background: 1.
Important! • The 9.8′ft. crossbar mounted on the two stands will not support a 107 in. or 53 in. roll of seamless paper. Any background weighing over 4.4 lb.
