4.PointyourremotecontroltowardstheACU,thenpressthe

remotecontrolbuttonthatyouwanttoallocatetotheselected

function.

5.Pressthesameremotecontrolbuttonagaintoconrmthe

selection.

6.Ifyouwanttosetupanotherremotefunction:

i.AttheACU,presstheBACKsoftkey.

ii.PressNEXTtoselectthenextfunctiontosetup.

iii.Repeatthesteps3to6above,foreachremotecontrol

functiontobesetup.

7.Whenallrequiredfunctionshavebeensetforremotecontrol,

presstheEXITsoftkeytoreturntothetoplevelofthesetup

menu.

SettingtheGPS

WiththeACUinsetupmode:

1.PresstheNEXTsoftkeyuntilSETGPS?isdisplayed.

2.PressYEStoenterGPSsetupmodeanddisplaythe

LONGITUDEscreen.

3.Setthecurrentlongitudeasfollows:

i.Usethe+and-softkeystoentertherequiredvalueforthe

characterabovethecursor(underscore).

ii.PresstheINPUTsoftkeytoaccepteachcorrectcharacter

andmovethecursortothenextcharacter.

iii.Repeatthesestepsuntilthecorrectlongitudenumericvalue

hasbeenenteredandthecursorisunderthelongitude

directionindicator,E(east)orW(west).

iv.UsetheEorWsoftkeytosettheappropriatedirection.

4.PresstheINPUTsoftkeytoproceedtotheLATITUDEscreen.

5.Setthecurrentlatitudeasfollows:

i.Usethe+and-softkeystoentertherequiredvalueforthe

characterabovethecursor.

ii.PresstheINPUTsoftkeytoaccepteachcorrectcharacter

andmovethecursortothenextcharacter.

iii.Repeatthesestepsuntilallcorrectlatitudevalueshave

beenenteredandthecursorisunderthelatitudedirection

indicator,N(north)orS(south).

iv.UsetheNorSsoftkeytosettheappropriatedirection

6.PresstheINPUTsoftkeytoproceedtotheSAVE?screen.

7.Presseither:

•YEStosaveyoursettings,or

•NOtocanceltheoperationandreturntotheSETUPMODE?

screen.

Note:IfyoursystemisconnectedtoaGPSantenna,theposition

willbeupdatedinrealtime.

satelliteinformation.However,ifyouhavetodoso,contactthe

RaymarineCustomerSupportDepartmentforadvicebefore

makinganychanges.

Theeditableparametersaretypically,insequence:

•LONGITUDEindegreesandminutes,plusE/Wselector.

•VERLOW/RHCP.Verticallowbandtrackingfrequency(inMHz)

andsymbolrate(inkHz).

•VERLOWNID.Verticallowbandnetworkidentity(NID).

•HORLOW/LHCP.Horizontallowbandtrackingfrequency(in

MHz)andsymbolrate(inkHz).

•HORLOWNID.Horizontallowbandnetworkidentity(NID).

•VERHIGH.Verticalhighbandtrackingfrequency(inMHz)and

symbolrate(inkHz).
