AlthoughyourRaymarineSatelliteTVsystemrequireminimal
maintenance,ensurethatyoursystemmaintainspeakperformance
bycarryingoutthefollowingmaintenancetasksonaroutinebasis:
•Examinecablesforsignsofdamagesuchaschangorcuts.
•Checkthatallcablesaresecurelyconnected.
•Washtheexterioroftheantennacoverwithfreshwatertoremove
saltdeposits;amilddetergentmaybeaddedtoremovegrime.
–DONOTuseabrasivecleanersorsolventssuchasacetoneas
thismayresultinirreparabledamagetotheunit.
–Theantennaisnotasealedunit,soDONOTuseapower
spraytowashtheexteriorasthismayresultinwateringress
anddamagetotheunit.
•Twiceayearremovetheantennadomeandexaminetheantenna
assemblyforsignsofcorrosion.
