system.Thedrive(motor)andassociatedcables
areinitiallyprotectedbythecurrentsensingandstall
conditiondetectionwithintheACUhardwareand
software.Asecondlevelofprotectionisprovided
tothesepartsandtheACUcomponentsbythe
unit'smainpowerfuse.Protectionfortheentire
autopilotsystemanditswiringbacktothemain
powerdistributionpanelisprovidedbyyourvessel’s
circuitbreaker/fuse.
Powersupplycircuitprotection
ProtectthepowersupplyfortheEvolutionsystemat
thedistributionboardwithafuseorcircuitbreaker
thatissuitablefortheACU.Forguidance,referto
mainpowerfuseratingstatedontheACUconnector
panel.Ifindoubt,consultyourlocaldealer.
