Thesechecksshouldbecarriedoutafterinstallation,
andpriortothecommissioningoftheautopilot
system.
1.Switchonpowertotheautopilotsystemand
associatedequipment.
•ACU(forEV-1systemsonly)
•Autopilotcontroller
•SeaTalkng®backbone(ifthishasitsown
powersupply)
2.Checkthattheautopilotcontrollerpowersup.If
thedisplayisblankpressandholdthePower
buttonfor2seconds.
3.Checkthedisplayforerrormessagesthatcould
indicateaproblemwiththeinstallation.
