3.7Locationrequirements
Theguidelinesbelowshouldbefollowedwhen
selectingalocationforyourtransducer.
Forbestperformancethetransducershouldbe
installedinalocationwiththeleastturbulenceand
aeration.
Important:DoNOTinstallthetransducerin-line
withtrailerrollers,yourvessel’sengineintakeor
dischargeopenings.
•Thetransducershouldbeinstalledasclosetothe
centerlineofthevesselaspossible.

orientation,asidentiedonthedeadrise/fairing
block.
•Thetransducershouldbeinstalledinalocation
wherethereissufcientclearanceinsidethehull
totthenutandhaveatleast100mm(4in)of
headroomtoallowforwithdrawal.
•Thetransducershouldbeinstalledsothatthe
bottomfaceofthetransducerispointingstraight
down.
