Selectingashnderdisplaymode
Fromtheshnderapplication:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectDisplayMode.
3.Withdualfrequencypresetset,selectAdjusttoselectwhich
frequencydisplayyouwishtochange.
SelectingAdjustinDualfrequencypresetwillswitchbetween
Frequency1andFrequency2.
4.SelecttheSelectModemenuitem.
5.Selecttherequireddisplaymode:
•None
•Zoom
•BottomLock
•A-Scope
Fishnderzoommode
Thezoomdisplaymodemagniesaregionoftheshnderscreen
todisplaymoredetail.
Thiszoomoptionenablesyouto:
•Replacethestandardshnderimagewiththezoomedimage,
ordisplaythezoomedimagealongsidethestandardshnder
image.
•Setthezoomfactortoapredenedlevel,oradjustitmanually.
•Repositionthezoomedportionoftheimagetoadifferentpoint
inthedisplay.
Whentherangeincreases,theareashowninthezoomwindow
alsoincreases.
Zoomsplit
Withthezoomdisplaymodeyoucansplitthescreenanddisplay
thezoomedimagealongsidethestandardshnderimage(ZOOM
SPLIT).Thezoomedsectionisindicatedonthestandardshnder
screenbyazoombox.
Selectingsplitscreeninzoommode
Fromtheshnderapplication,withthezoomdisplaymode
selected:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectDisplayMode.
3.SelectZoomsothatSplitishighlighted.
SelectingZoomwillswitchbetweenSplitandFull.
Adjustingtheshnderzoomfactor
Whenthezoomfunctionisactive(ZoomFullorZoomSplit),you
caneitherselectapredenedzoomfactororadjustitmanually.
Fromtheshnderapplication,withZoompresetselected:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectDisplayMode.
3.SelectZoomFactor.
4.SelectapresetZoomFactor(x2,x3,x4)orselectManual
OnceselectionismadeyouwillbereturnedtotheDisplayMode
menu.
5.IfManualischosenselectManualZoom
Themanualzoomfactordialogisdisplayed.
6.Adjustthesettingtotherequiredvalue.
7.SelectBackorusetheOkbuttontoconrmthesetting.
Adjustingthepositionoftheshnderzoomedarea
Whenthezoomfunctionisselected,thesystemautomatically
selectsthezoompositionsothatthebottomdetailsarealwaysinthe
lowerhalfofthedisplay.Ifrequiredyoucanrepositiontheportionof
theimagetobezoomedsothatanalternativeareaisdisplayed.
Fromtheshnderapplication,withZoompresetselected:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectDisplayMode.
3.SelectZoomPosition.
Thezoompositionmenuisdisplayed.
4.SelectZoomPosition.
Selectingthezoompositiondisplaysthezoompositionslider
barcontrol.
5.Adjustthesettingtotherequiredvalue,orselectAutotoswitch
toautomatic.
FishnderA-Scopemode
TheA-Scopemodeenablesyoutoviewalive(ratherthanhistorical)
imageoftheseabedandshdirectlybelowyourvessel.
Thestandardshnderdisplayshowsahistoricalrecordofshnder
echoes.Ifrequired,youcandisplayaliveimageofthebottom
structureandtheshdirectlybelowthetransducerbyusingthe
A-Scopefeature.ThewidthofthebottomcoveredbytheA-Scope
isindicatedatthebottomofthewindow.A-Scopeprovidesamore
preciseandeasiertointerpretindicationofthetargetstrength.
