Waypointfeatures
Therearearangeoffeaturesforplacing,navigatingandmanaging
waypoints.
Waypointfeaturesareaccessedfrom:
•thewaypointcontextmenu—bypositioningthecursoroveran
existingwaypointonthescreen.
•anyapplication—bypressingtheWPTbutton.Thisdisplays
theWaypointsmenu.
•thechartapplication—bygoingtothefollowingmenu:Menu
>MyData.
•thehomescreen—bygoingtothefollowingmenu:MyData.
Note:PressingtheWPTbuttonfromthehomescreenwillopen
thewaypointlist.

Placingawaypointatthecursorposition

beplaced.
2.SelectWPT.

3.SelectPlaceWaypointatCursor.
Thewaypointisplacedatthelocationandaconrmationpopup
messageisdisplayed.
4.SelectOktoconrmwaypointplacement,orEdittoeditthe
waypointdetails.
Placingawaypointatyourvessel'sposition
Inadditiontopositionalinformation,awaypointplacedatthevessel
positionwillcapturetemperatureandsoundeddepthinformation(if
youhavetheappropriatesensorsconnectedtoyoursystem).

1.SelectWPT.
Thewaypointmenuisdisplayed.
2.SelectWPTagain.
Aconrmationpopupmessageisdisplayed.
3.SelectOktoplacethewaypoint,orEdittoeditthewaypoint
details.
Note:Alternativelywiththewaypointmenudisplayedyoucan
selectPlaceWaypointAtVessel.

Youcanplaceawaypointataspeciedlocationusinglatitudeand
longitudecoordinates:
1.SelectWPT.
2.SelectPlaceWaypointAtLat/Lon.
3.SelectthePositioneld.
4.EntertheLatitude/Longitudeposition.
5.SelectSAVE.
6.Youcanalsoaddanameforthewaypointandaddtoagroup
byselectingtheNameandGroupelds.
