Alistofavailablewaypointgroupsisdisplayed.
6.Selectthegroupyouwishtomovethewaypointto.
Thewaypointismovedtothenewgroup.
Note:TheWaypointslistcanalsobeaccessedfromthe
homescreenbyselectingWPT.
Renamingawaypointgroup
WiththeWaypointGroupListdisplayed:
1.Selectthegroupyouwanttorename.
2.SelectEditGroupName.
Theon-screenkeyboardisdisplayed.
3.Usingtheon-screenkeyboard,editthegroupname.
4.SelectSAVE.
Changingthedefaultwaypointgrouporsymbol
FromtheWaypointAndGroupOptionsmenu:
•accessedviathehomescreen:MyData>WaypointAndGroup
Options,or
•accessedviathechartapplication:Menu>MyData>Waypoint
AndGroupOptions,or
•accessedfromanyapplication:WPT>WaypointAndGroup
Options
1.SelectSelectDefaultGroup.
Alistofgroupsisdisplayed.
2.Selectthegroupyouwantallnewwaypointstobeplacedin
bydefault.
3.SelectDefaultSymbol.
4.Selectthesymbolyouwantallnewwaypointstobeassigned.
Erasingawaypointgroup
Whenyoueraseawaypointgroup,thegroupnameiserasedfrom
thesystemandthewaypointsthatwereinthatgrouparemoved
totheMyWaypointsgroup.Y oucaneraseanywaypointgroup
exceptthefollowing:
•the‘MyWaypoints’group,
•agroupcontaininganactivewaypoint,
•agroupthatcontainswaypointsthatarepartofastoredroute.
WiththeWaypointGroupListdisplayed:
1.Selectthewaypointgroupthatyouwanttoerase.
2.SelectEraseGroup(ButKeepWaypoints).
3.SelectYestoconrmtheaction,orNotocancel.
Erasingawaypointgroupanditswaypoints
Toeraseawaypointgroupandallofthewaypointsinthatgroup
followthestepsbelow:
Fromthehomescreen:
1.SelectMyData.
2.SelectErasefromSystem.
3.SelectEraseWptsfromSystem.
Thewaypointsgrouplistisdisplayed.
4.SelectThewaypointgroupthatyouwanttoerase.
Aconrmationpop-upmessageisdisplayed.
5.SelectYestoconrmthedeletion.
Thewaypointgroupandallwaypointsinthatgrouphavenow
beenerasedfromthesystem.

Arouteisdisplayedonscreenasaseriesofwaypointslinkedbya

Routefeatures
Therearearangeofroutefeaturesforbuilding,navigatingand
managingroutes.
Theroutefeaturesallowyouto:
•Buildandsavearouteforusewhenrequired(storedintheroute
list).
•Navigate(follow)routes.
•Manageandeditroutesstoredonthesystem.
•Buildaroutefromanexistingtrack.
Routefeaturesareaccessedfromthechartapplication:
•byselectinganexistingroute.
•byusingtheBuildRouteoptioninthechartcontextmenu.
•byusingthechartapplicationmenu:Menu>Navigate>Follow
Route.
Note:TheRouteListcanalsobeaccessedfromthehomescreen
byselectingMyDataandthenRouteList.
Routebuilding
Aroutecanconsistofacombinationof:
•Newwaypointswhichyouplaceonthescreenasrequiredand/or
•existingwaypointsselectedfromalistdisplayedonscreen.
Note:Aroutecanalsobecreatedfromatrack.
Aseachwaypointisadded,itisassignedanindexnumber
correspondingtoitspositionintherouteanddrawnonthechart
usingthecurrentlyspeciedsymbol.Thefollowingshouldbenoted:
•Whenarouteisbeingbuiltitisnotactiveanddoesnotaffect
anycurrentnavigation.
•Youcannotsaveanewrouteifanyofthewaypointswithinitare
currentlyactive.

Youcanbuildarouteonatouchscreenmultifunctiondisplayby
followingthestepsbelow.
