2.SelectViewWaypointList.

3.Selecttherequiredwaypoint.
Thewaypointoptionsdialogisdisplayed.
4.SelectGotoWaypoint.
Note:SelectingWPTfromthehomescreenwilltakeyoutothe
waypointslist.
Cancellingnavigationtoawaypoint
Fromthechartorradarapplication:
1.Selecttheactivewaypoint.
Thewaypointcontextmenuisdisplayed.
2.SelectStopGoto.
3.Alternatively,inthechartapplication,goto:Menu>Navigate
>StopGoto.
Note:Oncenavigationisnolongeractive,thewaypointsymbol
returnstoitsnormalstate,andthedashedlinebetweenyour
vesselandthewaypointisremoved.
Arrivingatawaypoint
Asyourvesselapproachesawaypoint,thewaypointarrivalalarm
providesawarning.
1.SelectOkonthewaypointarrivalalarmpopupmessage.
Oncethealarmisacknowledged,thenextwaypointisselected,and
thedisplayupdatestoindicatethenextlegoftheroute.
Note:Youcansettheapproachdistance(radius)atwhichthe
waypointarrivalalarmwillsoundusingtheAlarmsmenufromthe
homescreen:Set-up>Alarms>WaypointArrival.
CrossTrackError(XTE)
CrossTrackError(XTE)istheamountofdeviationfromyour
intendedrouteorwaypoint,expressedasadistance.

Intheeventthatyousteeroff-track,youcangostraighttoyour
targetbyresettingXTE.
ResettingCrossTrackError(XTE)
Whilefollowingarouteinthechartapplication:
1.Selecttheroute.
Theroutecontextmenuisdisplayed.
2.SelectRestartXTE.
ResettingXTEresultsinanewcoursefromthecurrentvessel
positiontothecurrenttargetwaypoint.Thisdoesnotaffectyour
savedroute.

YoucanalsoresettheXTEfromtheNavigateMenu:Menu>
Navigate>RestartXTE.
Waypointinformation
Whenyoucreateawaypoint,thesystemassignsinformation
regardingthelocationmarked.Y oucanviewandeditthedetailsof
anywaypointthathasbeencreatedandstored.
Thefollowinginformationisassignedorcapturedforeachwaypoint:
•Name
•Position(asLat/Lonandrange/bearingfromvessel.)
•T emperature(requiresappropriatesensor,onlyforwaypoints
capturedatthevesselposition.)
•Depth(requiresappropriatesensor,onlyforwaypointscaptured
atthevesselposition.)
•Dateandtime
•Comment(youcanaddyourowntextcommentstoawaypoint.)
•Symbol(adefaultsymbolisassigned,oryoucanselectan
alternative.)
Thereare2featureswhichallowyoutovieworeditwaypoint
information:
•Placethecursoroverawaypointonthe2DchartorRadarscreen
toviewselectedinformation.
•Usethewaypointlistforcomprehensiveinformationtoviewand
editasrequired.
•Youcanallocatewaypointstoawaypointgrouptomakewaypoint
managementeasier.
