independentlyofthesafezoneringintheRadarapplication.
IfaMARPAorAIStargetwillreachthesafezoneringwithinthe
timetosafezoneselectedanalarmissounded.

1.SelectSafeZoneRingsothatShowishighlighted.
SelectingSafeZoneRingwillswitchthezoneringfromhidden
tovisible.
2.SelectSafeZoneRadius.
i.Selecttherequiredradiusforthesafezone.
3.SelectTimetoSafeZone.
i.Selecttherequiredtimeperiod.
4.SelectAISAlarmsothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingAISAlarmwillswitchthedangeroustargetalarm
betweenOnandOff.
Fuelrangerings
Thefuelrangeringgivesanestimatedrangethatcanbereached
withtheestimatedfuelremainingon-board.
Thefuelrangeringcanbedisplayedgraphicallyinthechart
applicationandindicatesanestimatedrangethatcanbereached
withthe:
•Currentrateoffuelconsumption.
•Estimatedfuelremainingon-board.
•Courseremaininginastraightline.
•Currentspeedmaintained.
Note:
Thefuelrangeringisanestimatedrangethatcanbereached
atthecurrentrateoffuelconsumption,ofthefuelonboardand
basedonanumberofexternalfactorswhichcouldeitherextend
orshortentheprojectedrange.
Thisestimateisbasedondatareceivedfromexternalfuel
managementdevices,orviatheFuelManager.Itdoesnottake
intoaccountprevailingconditionssuchastide,current,seastate,
windetc.
Youshouldnotrelyonthefuelrangeringfeatureforaccurate
voyageplanningorinemergencyandsafetycriticalsituations.

SelectingFuelRangeRingwillswitchthefunctionOnandOff.

Thefollowingoptionsareavailablewiththechartapplicationin3D

•CentreOfView—Switchesacrosshaironandoffatthecentre
ofthescreenatsealevel.
•Exaggeration—Adjustingtheexaggerationhastheeffectof
verticallystretchingobjectsonthechart,makingiteasiertosee
theirshapeandposition.
•TransducerCone—Switchesonandoffatransducercone
indicatingthecoverageofashndertransducer.
•DepthScale—Switchesonandoffadepthscaleatyourvessel
position.
