20.1Cameraapplicationoverview
Youcanviewacameraoravideofeedwhichisconnecteddirectly
toyourmultifunctiondisplayusingthevideoinput(s)orIPcamera
feedswhichareavailableonyournetwork.
Thecameraapplicationcanbesettocyclethroughallavailable
feeds.
Ifsupportedbyyourcamera,youcanadjustthebrightness,contrast,
colorandaspectratioofthevideoimage.PAL/NTSCisselected
automatically.
Thefollowingimageshowsanexampleofacamerafeeddisplayed
inthecameraapplication:
Note:Yourmultifunctiondisplaymustbepoweredupbefore
powerisappliedtoanynetworkedIPcameras,thisistoenable
yourmultifunctiondisplaytoassigntheIPcamera(s)avalidIP
address.
Note:IfyourIPcamera(s)arenotdetectedbyyourmultifunction
display,trypowercyclingtheIPcamera(s)whilstleavingyour
multifunctiondisplaypoweredup.

Changingthecamera/videofeed
OnaNewaSeriesorNeweSeriesdisplay,ifmorethan1feedis
availableyoucanchangewhichfeedisdisplayedonthescreen
usingtouch.

FromtheCameraapplication.
1.T ouchandswipeyourngeruptomovetothenextvideofeed.
2.T ouchandswipeyourngerdowntodisplaythepreviousvideo
feed.
Changingthecamera/videofeed
OnaNewcSeriesorNeweSeriesdisplay,ifmorethan1feedis
availableyoucanchangewhichfeedisdisplayedonthescreen
usingtheJoystick.
FromtheCameraapplication
1.MovetheJoystickDowntodisplaythenextvideofeed.
2.MovetheJoystickUptodisplaythepreviousvideofeed.
Changingthecamera/videofeedusingthe
menu
Onalldisplayvariants,whenmorethan1feedisavailable,youcan
changewhichfeedisdisplayedonthescreenusingthemenu.
FromtheCameraapplicationwithacamera/videofeeddisplayed:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectCamera.
3.Selectthecamerafeedyouwanttodisplayonthescreen.
Cameracycling
Whenmultiplecamera/videofeedsareavailablethecamera
applicationcanbesetuptoautomaticallycyclethroughtheavailable
feedsataspeciedtimeinterval.
Withcameracyclingturnedonthecameraapplicationwillcycle
throughtheavailablevideoinput(s)onthedisplayandavailable
networkedIPcamerafeeds.Thefeedswillbecycledintheorder
theyappearintheCameraselectionmenu:Menu>Camera.Direct
videoinputfeedswillappearrstandthenanynetworkedIPcamera
feeds.Whenthenalfeedinthelisthasbeendisplayedthecamera
applicationwillloopbacktotherstfeedinthelist.
Cameracyclingwillcyclethroughthemultifunctiondisplays
availablevideoinput(s)evenifnofeedisconnectedtotheinput(s).
Wherenofeedispresentonavideoinput,duringcyclingthevideo
inputfeedwillappearasabluescreen.Youcanchoosewhetheror
notthevideoinput(s)appearduringcameracycling.
Thetimeintervalthateachfeedisdisplayedfor,beforeswitchingto
thenextfeedcanbeadjusted.
Turningoncameracycling
Toturnonthecameracyclingfeaturefollowthestepsbelow.
Fromthecameraapplication:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectCameraCycling.
3.SelectCameraCyclingsothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingCameraCyclingwillswitchcyclingOnandOff.
Thecameraapplicationwillnowcyclethroughallavailablefeedsat
thedenedtimeinterval.
Settingthetimeintervalforcameracycling
Thetimeintervalthateachvideofeedisdisplayedforcanbesetby
followingthestepsbelow.
Fromthecameraapplication,withCameracyclingturnedon:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectCameraCycling.
3.SelectCycleinterval.
Thecycleintervalnumericadjustcontrolisdisplayed.
4.Adjustthesettingtotherequiredtimeinterval.
Duringcameracyclingeachfeedisdisplayedforthetimespecied
beforechangingtothenextfeed.
Showingorhidingvideoinputfeedsduringcameracycling
Bydefaultyourmultifunctiondisplaysvideoinput(s)areshown
duringcycling,evenifnofeedisconnectedtotheinput(s).Youcan
choosewhethervideoinput(s)appearduringcameracyclingby
followingthestepsbelow.
Fromthecameraapplication:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectCameraCycling.
3.SelecttheInclude<CameraName>optionforthevideoinput
youwanttoShoworHide.
SelectingInclude<CameraName>optionwillswitchbetween
showingorhidingthevideoinputduringcameracycling.
Note:Inthestepsabove<CameraName>representsthedefault
feednameprovidedbytheconnecteddeviceorthecustomname
whichcanbeassignedtothefeed.
Turningoffcameracycling
Youcanturnoffcameracyclingusingthemethodsdetailedbelow.
