Theunitshouldbepoweredfromadedicatedcircuitbreaker,
thathasappropriatecircuitprotection.Iftheunitisnotpowered
directlyfromadedicatedcircuitbreakerthenaseparateisolation
switchshouldbettedtotheunitspowersupply.
Theunitispoweredonwhenthepowercableisattachedtothe
vessel’spowersupply.
Important:Whenthevesselisunattendedtheunitshould
alwaysbeswitchedoffbythecircuitbreakerorisolation
switch.
Warning:Chassisgrounding
DoNOTgroundthisproductusingthechassis
groundterminal.
Groundingthisproducttoavessel’sRFground
maycausegalvaniccorrosion.
Grounding
Thisproductisgroundedthroughthe0Vdcnegativewireon
thepowercableanddoesnotrequireadrain(shield)tobe
connectedtothebasestation’sgroundterminal.
Warning:Positivegroundsystems
Donotconnectthisunittoasystemwhichhas
positivegrounding.
Breakers,fusesandcircuitprotection
Thepowercableincludesanin-linefuse.Itisrecommendedthat
youtanadditionalthermalbreakerorfuseatthedistribution
panel.
