Setupmenu:
1.PressENTERtoproceedtothetransducersetupoptions.
2.SelectSpeedthenCalibrationfromtheavailableoptions.
3.Calibrateeachspeedasfollows,startingwiththelowest:

i.Usethearrowkeystoselecttherequiredcalibrationspeed.
ii.AdjustyourboatspeeduntiltheSOGisatthedesired
calibrationspeed.
iii.Adjustthecalibrationfactor,untiltheSOGandSpeedreading
arethesame.
iv.Repeatthisforeachcalibrationspeedvalidforyourboat.
Speedswhichfalloutsideyourboat’scapabilityneednotbe
calibrated.
4.WhencompletepressENTERtosavethesettingsandreturn
tothetransducersetupmenu.
Calibratingspeed(smarttransducers)
ADST(Depth,Speed,T emperature)smarttransducerhasa
defaultcalibrationsettingwhichprovidesacceptabletransducer
performanceinmostcircumstances.Howeveryoucanperformyour
owncalibrationtosuityourboat.
•YouwillneedanaccurateSpeedoverground(SOG)value,e.g.
determinedfromaGPSconnectedintoyourSeaTalksystem.
•Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspacetomaneuver
unhindered.
•Conditionsshouldbecalmwaterwithaslacktide.

Youcansetupto8calibrationpointsacrossthefullspeedrange
foryourboat.
