Head UP stabilized (STAB) or unstabilized (UNSTAB)
Operator controls
Task
Pre-conditions.
H UP is selected
RM (R) is selected.
Manual
The Head UP type is selectable by pressing the STAB
soft button. The soft button labeling indicates the Head
UP type.
The Head UP type STAB or UNSTAB effects the general
Radar operating functions see Table 2-8:
Automatic
If the gyro compass heading is not available, the Radar
will switch to Head UP UNSTAB mode automatically.
