PLATE FINISHER & PRESERVER
Non-Asphaltum Storage Gum
Description:
A non
-
asphaltum
storage
gum specifically designed for
silver emulsion metal plates.
PLATE FINISHER & PRESERVER will not affect the imaged emulsion. It contains
special ingredients to keep the non-image area water-loving and the image area ink-
receptive. PLATE FINISHER & PRESERVER can be used as a long-term storage gum as
well as an overnight plate preserver.
Directions for Use:
1.
Dampen plate with water.
2. Clean ink from plate with a non water miscible press wash, such as RBP’s
SURE WASH.
3. Wet wash plate with water
4. Apply a liberal amount of PLATE FINISHER & PRESERVER with a dampened
cloth or sponge.
5. Wipe off excess and let air dry. Do not buff.
