My Thanks for purchasing this Rogue Element product! Here are some things about assembly you need to know, do yourself a favor & read these BEFORE building. Ill try to be brief but comprehensive.

PAINT, PREP & FINISHING 1. Spray in LIGHT coats fo prevent the paint from ‘Running away’ from sharp upper comers (Do Not use primer or you'll see it in tare stops) 2. Then, use included 800 grit paper on a FLAT surface — Glass is best to GENTLY remove 95% of the paint from tops of fins The objective is fo only remove most of the excess paint, not sand the metal yet. 3.

Attach breathers fo valve covers with new screw and washer, lining up the fins.
DISTRIBUTOR 1. Pra: make the ‘Boots’ with the heat shrink fusing or you'll scorch your plug wire! 2. Cut Pisces Smm. keeping the edges SQUARE. 3. Find something tho width & place it fiat on the funking, then cut on both sides with a hobby knife fo get uniform square-edged pieces. 4. Cut a spice of plug wire ot 45 degrees [See below] 1 inch long, no longer, and place it in one of the distributor holes: 5. Slide a piece of heat shrink over the Dist.
DISTRIBUTOR pe ] 7. Heat gun works but in this case, but carefully use a lighter. 8. Hold flume 2 inches below tubing {You need about 212 degrees of heat, not filer) and relate tubing so heat hits all sides evenly.
PLUG WIRING 1. Using something very sharp so as fo get a clean cut and avoid fitment issues, cut the colored wire at a 45 degree angle [Or it won't fit the holes!) 2. You need Two pes. Each of the following lengths: 4.25%, 475°, 5.25", and 5.75, plus 1 pe. 17 (Sacrificial, for making kits, above) and 1 pe. 4-5 for your coil. 3. Look at the Firing Order diagram, and the longer pieces go fo the engine block holes towards the front Shorter go to the rear {Duh} 4.
100MS TRIM BETWEEN LINES 1. Toke the black Deloris Wire Looms, and shave away thin parts fo make 6 Looms offal {See illustrations) TO MAKE 3 LOOMS X 2 2. Route wires through these AFTER mocking up which wits goes to which motor hole. Uss Firing Order This gives the nudest look. 3. Route them info the engine holes so they ‘Drape’ naturally. FIRING ORDER 4, Then, slide boots onto wires, then looms onto wires, and strip about 1/8° Looks — 3mm. insulation from the end of the ‘wires.
LOOMS [CONT] 5. Place these ends in the holes on the motor below the exhaust, and hold in place with a small dot of something, non-permanent in case you use ‘em for plugs later (8} Sa. [You can also use 8 cut-off screws & heat shrink fo mount ‘em, they are an 0-80 thread.
AIR FILTER FILTER MESH OPTIONAL. 1. Tim the plastic ‘paper’ drip fo fit snugly with no gap: Te use a SMALL drop of Super Glue lo affix. 2. Rough the Al. where the strip meets around the back fo give the glue some tooth. 3. If the mesh is wanted, rim to fit, then use o piece of the hair-thin $5 wire fo GENTLY ‘Sew’ it on. The mesh can be easily pulled out frightening the SS wire, so remember ifs just insurance! If you per-curve the mesh to stay in place on its own, then only a tiny bit of pressure is needed.
1. Can be mounted on your vehicle however and wherever you choose: A small strap mode of thin metal secured with 2 small screws is easiest. 1a.
DISTRIBUTOR MOUNT 1. Mount Dist to the bracket with new screw, then mount under the Carib using the 4 included fin screws, which are longer than shock, so it aces the REAR (Firewall) snd of the motor. 4 NEW.
