(_ Focus Indicators
• Auto Focus: Center the object you
want the camcorder to focus on
inside the framed detection area.
• Manual Focus Indicators (_ A)
appear when manual focus is
selected. The CAMERA/PLAY
switch must be in the CAMERA
position.
• Low-Contrast Indicators ( _-_ )
appear when there is not enough
light to record at the higher shutter
speed or when the auto-focus
feature cannot focus properly.

Shutter Speed Indicator
• The shutter speed indicator appears
for the shutter speed selected with
the SHUTTER button. The
CAMERA/PLAY switch must be in
CAMERA.
• Details are on page 40.
® Dew Warning Indicator
The dew indicator appears when
excessive moisture (condensation)
has entered the camcorder. The
camcorder will not operate when
this indicator appears, Place the
camcorder in a warm, dry area until
the dew indicator disappears.
When the dew indicator disappears
from the viewfinder, the camcorder
will operate.
_Low Battery Indicator
• This indicator appears when it is
time to recharge the battery.
• Details are onpage 19.
Lithium Cell Indicator
• This indicator appears when the
clock cell has not been installed or
it needs to be replaced.
• Details are on page 30.
