For best results, only use higher shutter speeds outdoors.
Rotate SCENE SELECT AE dial to SPORTS. See page 42.
Subject in front of a strong backlight. Rotate SCENE
SELECT AE dial to select B-LIT. See page 42.
Strong front spotlight on subject. Rotate SCENE SELECT
AE dial to select F-LIT. See page 42.
If at dusk or twilight, rotate SCENE SELECTAE dial to
select TWILIGHT. See page 42.
SCENE SELECTAE dial may be turned to special effect
mode. Turn the SCENE SELECTAE dial to OFF.

MONOCHROME selected with SCENE SELECTAE dial.

Camcorder is set to the 16x9 mode. Press the 16x9button.

Make sure tape speed SP/EP switch is set to the same speed
that the tape was recorded at.
Displays will be recorded on tape whenever they appear in
the viewfinder. Press DISPLAYor AGE button to remove
them from viewfinder when recording. See pages 32-33.
When AUTO DATE or auto date titler mode is selected,
display will automatically be recorded when you begin
recording or change the cassette. See pages 32-33.
Clock lithium cell battery may need replacing. See page 30.
Date, time, or age may need to be set. Seepages30-31.
This may occur when background extremely contrasts with
the subject.
Try disconnecting power source. Wait ten seconds and then
connect power source again. If error number does not
disappear from viewfinder, consult your Authorized RCA
Compact Camcorder Servicenter.
