Record Still Images
1. Pr_'ss the" Lock button in and s_'t the POWER
switch to CAMERA.

I)uring Record Pause mode, press the S ['ILL
bu//on. A still picture of the subject is displayed.
Press the REC S'IARTiSTOP bu//on. The still
picture is recorded.
• If PHOTO .ST]OTmode is selec/_.d, the
CalT1corder returns It) Record Pause 12_ode aflor
recording the still pic/ure for six seconds.
• You can also press the STILL bu//on during
recording to record a still picture on your tape.
If PHOTO S/tOTis selec/ed, the sound and
visual eff_>ctof' the camera shutter is turned
of'f. ['be camcorder returns to record pause
mode aiker recording the still picture f\_r six
seconds.
If S77LL mode is selec/_.d, press the REC SI_\R'I7
STOP bu//on/o slop recording the pic/ure.
Note: To turn off the shutter sound, (see
page 108).
To Cancel the Still Picture

while the camcorder is in the Record Pause
mode.
In S77LL mode, press the STILL button.
