Mode and Menu Screen Definitions
The fi)Ilowing charts contain brief definitions of tim fbatures of the Mode and Menu
screens. These screens o_r different features _r each recording and playback mode.
For a more detailed explanation on how _) use each feature, refer to the corresponding

DSC MODE Switch Set to DUAL or TAPE-- POWER Switch in
CAMERA.
Mode Screens
FADE Fades in and ()tit of scenes (s_pa_e 579.
GAMMA Adds brightness to dark image (s_pa_ 52).
SRCH Lets you visually search the rope in CAMERA mode (,v_@age 51).

Allows you select AITID or MANDAL shutter speed. 3/IAN{_iL
allows you to adjust the shutter speed between 30 and 10000
(see i_a_e _).
Allows you select A{_ID or )/IAN{_IL exposure settings.
MANdriL allows you to adiust the exposure settings between
5 and 5 (see i_a#e 95L
PIC. EFFECT Digital picture effects allow you to playback with a more
dramatic effect (see page 100).
SCENE MENU Allows you to set the camcorder to the best shooting mode
f\)r a specific situation by selecting one of the scene settings.
