Allows you to record still images of subjects with normal

sound on a tape. Only awdlable in 'IAPE mode (.ve_pages

62 63)

Used with the PHOTO SNAP fi'ature to make multiple

strobe recordings of fast moving subjects at intervals of

1/10 of a second using a 9 or 16 frame picture. Only

awdlable in 'IAPE mode (,ve_ pages 60 61)

DGTL The optical zoom limit is 10X. When OFFis set, digital

ZOOM zoom is not used.

40 Facto W Preset: Ail(_ws you to use tim Digital Zoom. By

digitally processing and magnif_dng images, zooming is

possible from 10X (tim optical zoom limit) to a maximum

of 40X digital magnificatkm.

400 Allows you to use the Digital Zoom. By cligitally

processing and magnifying images, zooming is possible

from 10X (the optical zoom limit) to a maximum of 400X

digital magnification.

rAPE Select the recording tape speed (,ve_/)age 30).

SPEED

16:9 Does not display black bars. Use for normal recording.

Allows you to record black bars at the top and bottom of

the screen to produce a wide screen effl'ct.
