C. Using the Built-in Battery
The unit has a built-in, non-replaceable, rechargeable battery. Charge the built-in battery before using it for the 
first time. The normal charging time should be completed within 4-5 hours. The charging light will go out when 
the built-in battery becomes fully charged.
To recharge the built-in battery
Turning on the Unit 
1.  Slide  the  CHARGE /  STANDBY / ON  switch on  the left  side of  the unit  to the ON 
position.
2.
  The start-up picture will appear on the screen.
3.  After use, slide the  CHARGE  / STANDBY /  ON  switch to  the STANDBY (power off) 
position.

5.  Do not use this apparatus near water.
6.  Clean only with a dry cloth.

 Do  not  block  the  ventilation openings.  Install  in 
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus 
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.

polarized  or  grounding  - type  plug.  A  polarized 
plug has two blades with one wider than the 
other. A grounding type plug has two blades 
and  a  third  grounding  prong. The  wide blade  or 
the third  prong   are provided  for  your safety. If 
the  provided  plug  does  not  fit  into your  outlet, 
consult an electrician for replacement of the 
obsolete outlet.

 Protect  the  power  cord  from  being  walked  on 
or pinched particularly  at  plugs, convenience 
receptacles,  and  the  point  where  they  exit  from 
the apparatus.

 Only  use  attachments/accessories  specified  by 
the manufacturer.

 Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, 
bracket, or table specified by the 
manufacturer, or sold with the 
apparatus. When a cart is used, 
use caution when moving the cart/apparatus 
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

• When
theinside ofthecigarette lighter socketis dirty with ashes ordust, theplug section maybecome
hot due to poor contact. Be sure to clean the cigarette lighter socket before use.
• Afteruse,disconnectthe12Vcarpoweradapterfromboththeunitandcigarettelightersocket.

B. Using the Car Power Adapter
Warning:
Disconnect  the  car  power 
adapter  when not  in  use. 
Not
forusein24Vvehicles.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or 
when unused for long periods of time.

all servicing to qualied servicepersonnel.
Servicing isrequiredwhenthe apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply 
cord
or plugis damaged,liquid hasbeen spilled
or objects  have fallen  into the apparatus,  the 
apparatus has  been exposed to  rain or moisture, 
does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Cautions:
• TheACpoweradapterincludedwiththisunitisforitsuseonly.Donotuseitwithotherequipment.
• When
theunitisnotgoingtobeusedforlongtime,disconnecttheACpoweradapterfromtheACpoweroutlet.
• When theAC power adapter ispluggedin,the apparatus isnotcompletely disconnected from the main
power supply, even when the power is turned off.

• Rechargethebuilt-inbatterywhenyouarereadytouseitagain.
• Whileusingthebuilt-inbattery,theenvironmentaltemperatureshouldbe41°F(5°C)to95°F(35°C).
• To
getthelongestservicelifeofthebuilt-inbattery,chargeatindoor-temperature.
• The built-in batteryin this devicemaypresent arisk of fire orchemical burn if mistreated.Donot
disassemble, heat above 212

Title, Chapter and Tracks
• DVDs are divided into “titles” and  “chapters”. If  the  disc 
has more  than  one movie  on  it, each  movie  would be  a 
separate “title”. “Chapters” are sections of titles.
• Audio
CDs are divided into “tracks”.  A  “track” is  usually 
one song on an Audio CD.
Note: Numbersidentify each title, chapter,and track ona disc. Most discs havethese numbers recordedon
them, but some do not.

Watching a DVD on your TV
