Overview of the DVD Recorder's Menu System
Since this product has many features, it has a wealth of menus and options.To access the main menu during playback_press the STOP button on the
remote.To access the main menu when you're not playing a disc, p_ess the MENU button.
How to navigate through on-screen menus
Th_oughout the DVD Recorder's menu system,you'll see arrows on the on-screen menu ba_.These arrows indicate you can use the correlating ar_ow
buttons on the remote control to navigate to diffel_ent menus and access choices.When a menu item is highlighted, press OK to select the menu.
If you see the left arrow button,you can press it to return to the previous menu.Th_oughout the menu system, the GO BACK button takes you to the
previous menu.

Watch TV
The Main Menu
The main menu is divided into the fo_[owing submenus:
Watch "IV _ shows current channel number or input.
GUIDE Plus+ - accesses GUIDE Plus+ on-screen program _istings.
Disc _ plays a disc, enables you to create a customized playlist for audio CDs, selectsthe
screen format for DVDs, and accesses title menus and disc menus for DVDs. Go to page
43 for detai_s.
Disc Library - contains information about alt programs you've recorded using this DVD
Recorde_You can use the Disc Library as a search tool by sorting recorded programs. As
much information as possible is stored autom_t_call_The information is stored in the DVD
Recorder's memory and has storage limits.You may need to delete some library contents
in the future to make room for new recordings. For detailed information about the Disc
t3brary,go to page X.
Timers- set up timer recordings and view the list of existing timer recordings. Go to page
44 for detai_s.
Setup - accessesall of the menus from the Interactive Setup (the menus you went
through the first time you turned on the product); parental controls (r_ting limits);
language options for on-screen menus and discs; and advanced settings for audio and
component video. Go to page 45 for more information.
Memory Card (only appears after connecting a compatible Mass Storage USB
Device via the USB port on the front of the DVD Recorder) - lists options for
playingand/or copyingJPEG and MP3 files fi_oma memory card (also ca_lecla flash card)
via a compatible a compatible MassStorage USB Device that you connect to the USB iack
on the fi_ontof the DVD Recorder.
MOteS:
You can only copy JPEG and rap3 files to a DVD+RW disc.
Not all Mass StorageUSB Devices(commonlycalledcard readers)wdl work with thisDVD Recorde_
