Shows the current channel or input.To watch TV, press OK when the Worth TV menu is
high{ighted (the channel banner appears to show you availab{e program information, such
as channel, name, and time. For more information, go to page 26.
GUIDE Plus+
GUIDE Plus+
Accesses the GU}DE P{us+ system's on-screen p_ogramming guide.You can a{soaccess
the GUIDE Plus+ listings by pressing the GUIDE button on the ,-emote. For GUIDE P{us+
menu options, go to the Setup, {nsta{{adon, GUIDE Plus+ (page 13 for information).
{nstructions about using GUIDE Plus+ are on page 30 of this User's Guide.
Play Disc
Disc
YOUcan only access the disc menu when you've inserted a compatible disc into the DVD
Recorder.The submenus foffew:
Play Disc: starts playing the disc.
Disc Title Menu: available when you've inserted a DVD+R or DVD+ RW disc that
you've recorded in this DVD Recorde_With DiscTitle highlighted, press OK to access the
disc's title menu (the disc name appears on the top and each recording is listed below).
If you press OK when the disc name is highlighted, the following choices appear:
Rename Disc: Press OK when highlighted (the on-screen keyboard appears).
Follow the on-screen instructions to give the disc a different name. Highlight
Done when you're finished,and press OK.
E_$e Disc: Erases a DVD+RW disc so you can record new programming onto it.
Lock Disc: Protects contents of the DVD so nobody can record new
programming onto it.
Finalize Disc: Enables a DVD+R disc to be p_ayedin other DVD p_ayers.
If you press OK when one of the recordings (titles) is highlighted, the following choices
appear: Rename title; Play edited title; Play ful_ title; Delete title; and Clear chapters.
Player Menu: shows you how a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc's menu will appear in other
DVD P_ayers.A small stiIl_frame from each r3tIe you record (program, show, movie)
appears as a thumbnail.You'll use the DVD p_ayer's left and right arrow buttons to
highlight a thumbnail so you can p_aythe recordin_ If you have multiple recordings
and want to get back to the beginning geick_ highlight Go to page I (if available on the
screen) and press OK.
Note: Not all DVD players are able to play DVD+R and DVD+RW discs. Check the DVD players
ownetas mQl)ucfl.
The DVO Re¢o_ier*s Player Menu shows
how a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc menu will
appear in another DVD player.
Note:nor all DVD players support DVD+R and
DVD+RW discs.
Ploylist: (available for Audio CDs only):You can create a customized playtist just like
you can with many CD players where you rearrange the order in which the songs p_ay.
The play_ist is played via the Program Play option in the Info Display (page 39).To set up
a p_aylist,follow the on-screen instructions.
