If you have ques_ons about us_ng a cable box with the DVD Recorder, consu_ your cable company. R_ can only provide _neml inst_c_ons because cable serwce and
cable boxes differ in various areas.
You must view premium cable channels through the DVD Recorder if you use this connection because ordy reguler cable channels are being sent to the TV via the 2

If you have a d_gital cable box, you need to purchase a _paclal Lype of sphtter--the one packed with the DVD Recorder is only for regular, analog cable boxes.

To watch one program while you record another: Tune the TV to its Input I channel orVid I channel.
Tune the DVD Recorder to the cable box channel (usually channel 2,
3, or 4).
Tune the cable box to the channel you want to record.
Press the RECORD button on the DVD Recorder.
Use the buttons on the TV (or the TV's remote control ) to tune the TV
to the channe{ you wa_t to w_t_h.
To play a disc Tune theTV to its Input I channel orVid I channel.
