On Placement

On Condensation
• When left in a heatedroom where itiswarmanddamp,water droplets orcondensation may form
inside the unit. When there is condensation inside the unit, the unit may not function normally. Let
the unit standfor 1to 2hoursbefore turning the power on,orgradually heat theroom andallow
the unit to dry before use.
Ventilation Warning
• Donotblocktheventilation openingsor holes.Iftheventilationopeningsor holes areblockedbya
newspaper or cloth, etc., the heat may not be able to get out.
• Donotoperatetheunitinaconfinedspace,suchasabookcaseorbuilt-incabinet.Allowabout4
inches(10cm)offreespaceallaroundtheunitforadequateventilation.

C. Using the Built-in Battery
The unit has a built-in, non-replaceable, rechargeable battery. Charge the built-in battery before using it
forthersttime. Completechargingtypicallytakesapproximately 4-5hours.Thecharginglight willgo
out when the built-in battery becomes fully charged.
Warning:
• Thebuilt-inbatterycan only berecharged when the unit is inCHARGE modewhile usingthe AC
power adapter.
• Thebuilt-inbatterycannotberechargedwhentheunitisinONmode.
• DoNOTrechargethebuilt-inbatteryinavehicleusingthecarpoweradapter.

at that time. This occurs because the DVD manufacturer determines the specic functions of DVDs. Certain
functions may not be available on some DVDs. Be sure to read the documentation provided with the DVD.

Titles,ChaptersandTracks
• DVDs are dividedinto“titles” and “chapters”.
If the disc has more than one movie on it, each
movie would be a separate “title”. “Chapters”
are sections of titles.
• AudioCDsare divided into“tracks”. A “track” is
usually one song on an Audio CD.
Note: Numbersidentifyeachtitle,chapter,andtrackonadisc.Mostdiscshavethesenumbersrecorded
on them, but some do not.
