Inserting your iPod / iPhone / iPad
1. InsertyouriPod/iPhone/iPadintotheconnectorinthedock.
2. Press the ON/OFF buttontoturnontheunit.EnsuretheiPod/iPhone/iPad/LINEINsourceisselected(theFM
RADIOindicatorshouldbeo)-toselectasource,taptheSOURCE button. Ensure you do NOT have a device plugged
intotheLINEINjack.
Note:
• TheiPod/iPhone/iPadwillchargeautomatically(untilfullycharged)onceitisdockedinthecradle(exceptifthe
unitisinRadiomode).iPodClassic(1Gand2G)willnotcharge.
• NotethatnotallfunctionsofsomeiPod/iPhone/iPadmodelscanbecontrolledviatheremotecontrolofthisunit.
Ifnecessary,operateyouriPod/iPhone/iPaddirectlybyusingitsscreen.
• WhenplayingiPod/iPhone/iPad,youcanusetheMENU, , or SELECT button on the remote control to enter the
menuofiPod/iPhone/iPadtoselect.
• DisconnecttheLine-incablewhenplayingiPod/iPhone/iPad.
Pausing playback
• Pressthe button.
• Toresumeplayback,pressthe button again.
Skipping to another track
• Presseitherthe or button according to the desired direction.
• Pressthe buttontoskiptothebeginningofthecurrenttrackorprevioustrack.Press buttontoskiptothe
beginningofthenexttrack.
Locating a particular point on a track
• Keepeitherthe or buttonpressedduringplaybackandreleaseatthedesiredpointinthetrack.

POWER SUPPLY
Using the AC adapter
UsinganACadapterotherthantheonesuppliedwiththeunitmaydamagetheunit.
Caution:
• Beforeuse,ensuretheratedvoltageoftheadaptermatchesyourlocalvoltage.
• TheincludedACadapterisforusewiththisunitonly.Donotuseitwithother
equipment.
• Ifyouarenotgoingtousetheunitforalongtime,disconnecttheACadapter
from the wall outlet.
• WhenevertheACadapterispluggedintoawalloutlet,electricityisrunning
through the unit, even when the power switch is turned o.
Removing the base stand
Hold the unit and slide down the stand (as shown).
Installing the base stand
Hold the unit and push the stand upward the rear of unit (as shown).
Caution:
Before removing or installing the base stand, ensure you disconnect all
cables(ACadaptorandLine-incable).
Mounting on a wall
The unit can be mounted on a wall by the mounting holes on the rear of the unit.
Caution:
• Mountingtheunitrequiresspecialskills thatshouldbeonlyperformed byqualied
personnel.
• Make sure that the wall mount is xed securely enough so that it meets safety
standards.
