Power Indicator
Lights when the VCR is turned on.
Flashes during a recording.
Time, Channel Number, or Line Input (L)
The current time is displayed. Only the AM
indicator appears; when the time is PM, no
indicator appears.
The channel number or line input is displayed.
Press INPUT on the remote to display the line
input indicator (L) to record from the VIDEO1 IN
and AUDIO1 IN jacks.
Status Indicators
Shows what the VCR is doing.
PLAY A tape is playing.
REC A tape is recording.
REW A tape is rewinding.
FF A tape is fast forwarding.
STOP A tapeis stopped.
TIMER Indicator
Shows VCR is set for timer recording when VCR is
turned off.
Flashes when the timer recording is set and there is
no cassette in the VCR.
VCR Indicator
Lights when using the TVoVCR button.
When using one of the basic hookups:
° The picture comes from the VCR when VCR
indicator is on.
• The picture comes from the television channels
when VCR indicator is off.
