OUTPUT CONNECTION TO LOUDSPEAKERS

OUTPUTS AT 70/100 V CONSTANT VOLTAGE (HIGH IMPEDANCE)

• Each speaker must have a line transformer with the input voltage equal to the line voltage

(70 / 100 V).

• The loudspeaker total power must not be higher than the maximum power the ampliﬁer

can deliver.

LOW IMPEDANCE OUTPUT (4 Ω)

• The

loudspeaker total impedance must not be less

than 4 Ω; note: a total impedance equal to 4 Ω allows

the maximum power delivery of the ampliﬁer; a higher

impedance leads to a reduction of the power delivered

(e.g. 8 Ω: approx. ½ power; 16 Ω: approx. ¼ power);

impedance values lower than 4 Ohm overload the

ampliﬁer

• The loudspeaker total power must be suitable to the

maximum power that can be delivered by the ampliﬁer

(120 W with total impedance 4 Ω);

• The length of the loudspeaker lines must be reduced

to the minimum (a long distance may require the use of

cables with large cross-section).

• Do not use the low impedance connection (4 Ω)

simultaneously with the high impedance connection

(70V or 100V), as this overloads the ampliﬁer.
