OUTPUT CONNECTION TO LOUDSPEAKERS
OUTPUTS AT 70/100 V CONSTANT VOLTAGE (HIGH IMPEDANCE)
Each speaker must have a line transformer with the input voltage equal to the line voltage
(70 / 100 V).
The loudspeaker total power must not be higher than the maximum power the amplifier
can deliver.
LOW IMPEDANCE OUTPUT (4 )
The
loudspeaker total impedance must not be less
than 4 ; note: a total impedance equal to 4 allows
the maximum power delivery of the amplifier; a higher
impedance leads to a reduction of the power delivered
(e.g. 8 : approx. ½ power; 16 : approx. ¼ power);
impedance values lower than 4 Ohm overload the
amplifier
The loudspeaker total power must be suitable to the
maximum power that can be delivered by the amplifier
(120 W with total impedance 4 );
The length of the loudspeaker lines must be reduced
to the minimum (a long distance may require the use of
cables with large cross-section).
Do not use the low impedance connection (4 )
simultaneously with the high impedance connection
(70V or 100V), as this overloads the amplifier.
