FRONT PANEL
1
Audio input level controls.
2
Tone controls: BASS (100 Hz ± 10 dB); TREBLE (10 kHz ± 10 dB). When using the ampli er
connected to horn speakers without protective capacitor, we recommend you signi cantly attenuate
the low frequencies (BASS control) to limit the excursion and heat dissipation of transducers.
3
Output level master control
4
Display of output level (5 LEDs) and power (ON LED). Amplifi er delivers the nominal power
when top LED fl ashes.
5
Power switch
REAR PANEL
1
Inputs 1 ÷ 4 XLR connectors (balanced signal).
2
Phantom power supply switch on inputs 1 ÷ 4 (21 V dc; for instance, necessary when using
electret microphones). When pressed down, this pushbutton turns the phantom power supply on.
3
Audio input 1 voice priority (VOX) switch. When pressed down, it allows the input 1 VOX priority
over all the other inputs, which are attenuated (-40 dB) when an audio signal is present on input
1. All inputs are mixed when released.
4
Mic. / line sensitivity switches of audio inputs 1 ÷ 4. When a pushbutton is released, the relevant
input is set to microphone sensitivity; when it is pressed down, the input is set to use high level
signals (i.e. CD / cassette players, tuners, etc.).
5
Input 5 dual RCA connector (line).
6
Line output (with dual RCA connector) to a recorder or other devices.
7
Preamplifi er output (PRE OUT) and direct input to the amplifi er nal power stages (AMP IN);
two RCA connectors (normally linked by means of a U-bar) that can be used to insert external
signal processors (i.e. equalisers, anti-feedback processors, etc.). When the bar is removed,
the preampli er and the amplifi er fi nal power stages are separated (not linked).
8
Chime level
9
Chime Activation contacts (when shorted)
10
Outputs to loudspeakers (100 / 70 V constant voltage; low impedance 4 ).
11
Input for 24 V direct current power supply. The unit does not include a battery recharging
device, therefore it is not able to keep charged the batteries connected.
12
Amplifi er earth terminal.
13
Connector with fuse for the power supply cable (from mains).
Note: the type of fuse to be used is specifi ed on the rear panel.
