Whenmountingtoastraightface,

fivefastenersshouldbeusedto
maximizestrengthinbothdirections
(Fig2).

Thru-boltingusing3/8”stainless
steelboltsisrecommendedtoattain
maximumstrengthanddurability.
Ensuringthatthepostisplumbfrom
side-to-sideandattheappropriate
height,clampinplace(Fig.3).
Postsshouldbeinstalledataheight
of36”foranRDIresidentialrailingkit
and42”foranRDIcommercialrailing
kit.
Usingtwostandarddeckscrews,
temporarilysecurethepostinplace
throughthetwosmallerholesinthe
post(Fig.4).
