IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Installation Warnings • Minimum clearance from the fireplace to combustible materials is 60 inches (152.4 cm) from top and 48 inches (121.9 cm) on all sides. Do not place this fireplace under any overhead structure or vegetation. • The normal LP inlet pressure for this fireplace is 11.0” W.C. (2.74 kPa). Maximum inlet pressure is 13.0” W.C. (3.23 kPa). ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Install the AA battery as shown in the diagram below. _ + 2. After removing the door, make sure the LP tank knob is turned to “OFF”. Place the tank in the tank seat so that it sits securely and is level. Tighten the tank thumb screw to secure the tank. a. b. 3. Connect the LP Gas Tank Before connection, be sure there is no debris caught in the collar of the LP gas tank, the regulator valve, the burner tube, or the burner ports.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 4. Replace the door 5. Place the filler material into the burner pan by hand. To avoid clogging the burner with dust do not dump the bag into the burner pan. Position the filler across the burner pan to a level that is 1 inch (2.54 cm) above the burner tube. Make sure you do not block the igniter housing with the filler material to ensure proper ignition and operation. If using glass filler, Real Flame suggests first placing a layer of lava rock in the burner pan to improve airflow.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS ! WARNING The hose should not come within 1” from the bottom of the burn pan. If the table is installed with a portion of the hose under the table, the hose must be secured, so that no part of the hose will be within 1” or come in contact with the underside of the burn pan or where the hose will not be accidentally damaged or pinched. 1” Failure to secure the hose in a safe location may result in a gas leak that could cause property damage, injury, or death.
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS Using the Igniter 1. Read and understand all operating instructions before lighting. 2. Before beginning, make sure the control knob is in the “OFF” position. 3. Connect your LP gas tank (see previous pages). 4. Slowly open the valve on your LP gas tank. 5. DO NOT lean over any part of the burner. Verify that the area around the burner is free of hazards. 6. Push in and turn the control knob counterclockwise to the “LIGHT” position. 7.
CARE AND CLEANING Inspecting Your Fireplace ! WARNING DO NOT inspect, clean, move or store your fireplace until the flames are COMPLETELY out and all parts are cool to the touch. Your fireplace should be inspected regularly to ensure that it is safe to use and to extend the life of its parts. To inspect your fireplace follow these steps: 1. Make sure all parts are securely fastened in place. If a part moves when touched, check its connection points to see if they are loose. 2.
SPIDER AND INSECT WARNING Spiders or other insects may build webs or nests in your fireplace burner tube which can obstruct or block the flow of gas. Some of the gas may back up in the burner tube and cause a flashback (a fire in the burner tube or underneath the fireplace), which could result in property damage, serious injury, or death. Check and clean the burner tube periodically using a pipe cleaning brush (shown below) and compressed air available at any hardware store.
TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING If the Fireplace Will Not Ignite If the igniter system is working correctly, you should hear a clicking sound while the igniter button is being pushed and you should see a spark inside the igniter housing. If you do not see the spark or hear a clicking sound, please check the following: Electrode You should see this spark when pushing the igniter button. Thermocouple Make sure flame is contacting this. TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING If the Fireplace Will Not Stay Lit (Cont.) 2. Make sure the thermocouple and igniter pin are correctly positioned. Thermocouple - The thermocouple tip should be located close to the burner, aligned with a burner port so that flames contact it directly. Make sure the flames are making contact with the thermocouple tip. Electrode You should see this spark when pushing the igniter button. Thermocouple Make sure flame is contacting this.

INSTRUCTIONS D’ASSEMBLAGE 1 . Installer la pile AA comme indiqué sur le schéma ci-dessous. _ + 2. Après avoir retiré la porte, assurez-vous que le bouton du réservoir de gaz LP est tourné sur la position "OFF". Placer le matériau de remplissage sur tout le plateau du brûleur jusqu’à 2,5 cm (1 po) au-dessus du conduit du brûleur. S’assurer de ne pas bloquer le boîtier de l’allumeur avec le matériau de remplissage pour assurer un allumage et un fonctionnement appropriés.

ATTENTION Le tuyau ne doit pas s'approcher à moins de 1" du bas du bac de combustion Si la table est installée avec une partie du tuyau sous la table, le tuyau doit être fixé, de sorte qu'aucune partie du tuyau ne se trouve à moins de 1" ou n'entre en contact avec le dessous du bac de combustion ou positionner-le où il ne peut-être accidentellement endommagé ou pincé.
INSTRUCTIONS D'ALLUMAGE Utilisation de l’allumeur 1. Lire et comprendre toures les instructions d’utilisation avant l’allumage. 2. Avant de commencer, s’assurer que le bouton clé est en position ARRÊT. 3. Connecter la bonbonne de GPL (voir pages précédentes). 4. Ouvrir lentement la vanne de la bonbonne de GPL. 5. NE PAS s’appuyer sur aucune partie du brûleur. Vérifier que la zone autour du brûleur est exempte de risques. 6. Pousser et tourner le bouton de commande sur la position ALLUMER. 7.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE Inspection du foyer ! AVERTISSEMENT NE PAS inspecter, NE PAS nettoyer, NE PAS déplacer ou NE PAS entreposer le foyer jusqu’à ce que les flammes soient COMPLÈTEMENT éteintes et que toutes pièces soient froides au toucher. Le foyer doit être inspecté régulièrement pour s’assurer qu’elle est utilisable en toute sécurité et pour prolonger la durée de vie de ses pièces. Suivre ces étapes pour inspecter le foyer : 1. S’assurer que toutes les pièces sont solidement fixées en place.
AVERTISSEMENT CONCERNANT LES ARAIGNÉES ET LES INSECTES Les araignées ou d’autres insectes peuvent construire des toiles ou des nids dans votre tuyau de foyer, ce qui peut entraver ou bloquer le flux de gaz. CONSEILS ET DÉPANNAGE Si le foyer ne s'allume pas Si le système d’allumage fonctionne correctement, un clic se fera entendre lorsque le bouton de l’allumeur est enfoncé et une étincelle devrait être visible dans le boîtier de l’allumeur. S’il n’y a pas d’étincelle ou aucun un clic, vérifier les points suivants: Électrode Vous devriez voir cette étincelle lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton de l’allumeur. Thermocouple Assurez-vous que la flamme est en contact avec ceci.

Coloque el relleno en el recipiente del quemador a un nivel que tenga 1” (2.5 cm) por encima del tubo del quemador. Cerciórese de no bloquear la carcasa del encendedor con el material de relleno para garantizar el encendido adecuado y el funcionamiento.
INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE ! ADVERTENCIA La manguera no debe estar dentro de 1 ” del fondo de la bandeja de quemado. Si la mesa se instala con una parte de la manguera debajo la mesa, la manguera debe estar asegurada, de modo que ninguna parte de la manguera este dentro de 1” o entre en contacto con la parte inferior de la bandeja de combustión o donde la manguera no se dañe accidentalmente o sea pellizcado.
