in the Americas, and is a valued and tenured partner. It is with sincere appreciation that we
provide this endorsement, and look forward to many more years of bringing REC solar
energy to the mainstream with the assistance of Solar Electric Supply’s (SES) educated,
committed, and competent staff.
With specific reference to projects in Hawaii, REC would like to make reference to a 1.21MW
PV power plant which was commissioned in February of 2011 above old Kapa’a Town on the
windward side of Kaua’i. This system was the largest of its kind in the state of Hawaii at its
completion, the first of its kind on Kaua’i, and feeds power to the Kaua’i Island Utility
Cooperative’s grid, which is generated by 5,376 of our Peak Energy modules. In addition
SES also recently provided the engineering and material for a 500KW system for the US
National Guard in Bethany Beach, Delaware. SES time and again undertakes some of the
most challenging projects with a very high measure of success ensuring the projects go to
fruition where others simply could not.
